Growth Mindset Posters

$1.99

This set of Growth Mindset Posters can provide words of affirmation to help learners keep trying. Just about everyone has their own set of struggles. Goals are set each year, resolutions are made, and promises are given.  Finding the internal motivation to keep going can be tough.

Words can be powerful. Whoever said sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me, was mistaken.  Words can be cruel, damaging, and discouraging.  They can also be positive and uplifting to offset some of the negative talk learners hear every day.

Keep this set of Growth Mindset Posters handy and paste them anywhere a little positivity is needed.

Description

Included in this printable set are ten different affirming signs.  These can help lift your struggling learners when they need it most.

A growth mindset is an attitude toward change. Everyone has room to grow, whether they believe it or not. One can grow to be excellent at something of which they are just average, or learn something new. Sometimes goals do not match abilities.  That is a  lesson to work on goal setting, rather than defeating a growth mindset.

Gary Chapman, in his book about the five love languages, writes about our preferred way to receive love or positivity.  The five love languages include; positive affirmations, acts of service, gifts, physical touch, and quality time.  There is merit to all of these languages. While all are beneficial in their own way, positive affirmation is the simplest way to show appreciation.

While it is the simplest in terms of time and effort, it is often neglected.  People are quick to judge, criticize, and condemn others, rather than lift them up.  Posting these growth mindset affirmations around the room can serve as a reminder to think and speak positively.

Mary Ann Radmacher wrote, “Courage doesn’t always roar, sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow.”

Disney said, “There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day.”

Both of these people used wise words to remind us there is always another chance to grow. Surround yourself and others with these posters and other great quotes, and be mindful to read and recite them daily.
