This tool is designed to be a comprehensive observation kit for handwriting screening and supplement for standardized testing.
The kit includes 8 sections of writing samples including
- upper case alphabet
- lower case alphabet
- numbers
- sentence copying in upper case
- sentence copying in mixed case (upper and lowercase)
Each section has a format of a model and non-model option of all letters, numbers and sentences. The kit also includes extensive directions and a data sheet with scores for errors in 7 different categories. These scores are not standardized, but are in place to help the clinician track the child’s progress with handwriting over the course of treatment.
